This is a contemporary place of worship where the designer's skillful use of form, materials and control of natural light
creating a calming spiritual connection that begins at the outdoor entrance to the mosque, bounded by sunlight filtering through perforated panels.
Worshippers are led into the ablution area to cleanse their bodies to remove distractions and prepare for prayer.
The path continues into the lobby space, where traces of the material world are further stripped away as people remove their shoes.
